Physical and Chemical Properties
Red powder. Sodium nitrophenolate is a mixture of sodium 5-nitroguaiacol, sodium o-nitrophenolate and sodium p-nitrophenolate. The appearance is a mixture of jujube red flake crystals, dark red needle crystals and yellow crystals, with a phenolic aroma. Soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, methanol, acetone and other organic solvents. It is stable in neutral and alkaline medium, and will be converted into phenol in acidic medium.
Function and Characteristics
Sodium Nitrohenolate is a mixture of Sodium 5-nitroguaiacolate and Sodium O-Nitrophenolate and Sodium P-nitrophenolate, rapidly penetrates plant tissues, promoting cytoplasmic flow within cells and stimulating cell division and proliferation. It facilitates chlorophyll and protein synthesis, breaks seed dormancy, promotes seedling emergence and root development, encourages flower bud formation, accelerates flowering, increases fruit weight, prevents flower and fruit drop, boosts crop yields, and enhances agricultural product quality. As a broad-spectrum plant regulator, sodium nitrophenolate demonstrates outstanding efficacy across diverse crops. It effectively enhances growth in cereal crops (rice, wheat, legumes, corn), oilseed crops (rapeseed, sesame), cotton, leafy vegetables, cruciferous vegetables, as well as fruits like citrus, apples, lychees, longans, mangoes, and pineapples.
- Enhance plant vitality, improve crop disease resistance and stress resistance;
- Promote cytoplasmic flow, enhance cellular material and energy metabolism;
- Enhance the ability of plants to absorb and utilize fertilizers and pesticides, and increase fertilizer and drug efficacy;
- With good quick effect, it is an efficient plant growth regulator integrating nutrition, regulation and disease prevention
